Default 1999 scrambler AWD

I want to replace all the brake rotors. I figure while I was at it, I would replace the chain and sprockets as well. The sprocket up is 13/36 setup and the chain is a 520-76p o-ring type. This is OEM. I'd like to keep it stock, but I am having trouble finding the sprockets and chain I want on ebay. I am looking at ebay to keep the costs down. Any suggestions?

Oh, by the way...

Whats the word on spray painting the rotors with high temperature caliper paint? Bad idea or what?

Thanks in advance for your advice

Nick

'98-'00 Scrammy 500 are the only ones to use the 13/36 setup - those sprockets are available aftermarket, but you would have better luck visiting your local independent repair shop to find them, rather than Ebay........

Thanks for the reply. I know that I would have better luck going to the local dealer for the chain and sprockets, but I don't want to spend an arm and leg. As to the gear ratio (sprockets), you are correct that the 500's do have the 13/36 ratio, but the 99 and 2000 400s also have the same ratio.

I can get the sprockets and a non o ring chain on ebay, but I would rather have the o ring type chain. (this is being sold in a set)

Regarding spraying the new rotors with high temperature paint; has anyone did this and what was the result?

Thanks for your input
