Pit Bulls eat children and should be banned LOL! Just kidding I have 2 very good pits. How about a guard goose? Those things are REALLY mean.

No livestock in the city either, so no geese, peahens, Guinea fowl, etc. for alarm and/or attack birds.

I would take my chances on defending property and life and take it to a jury court to be decided. Juries are very sympathetic to citizens who defend themselves from punks.</end quote></div>

It's not the criminal court you would have to worry about. If they survive, they'd probably clean you out in a civil suit. Then you have to worry about their family if they don't.

You know there's an attorney that would argue you took away his crackhead wifes only source of income.

Sadly, you can't just shoot their attorneys either.

Yeah, that sucks. We'd be a lot better off without them.

I hate to hear this about anyones atv. West Virginia just changed the law. You can now defend your property. If you're a concealed weapons holder shoot to kill if you think they are going to steal something $500 or more. I don't know if this applys for the average home owner. Glad I'm a concealed weapons permit holder. Why not drill a hole in your brake disc for the lock. Holes in your disc won't hurt anything. They are there for cooling and allowing dirt to pass through. Just file down any burrs once hole is drilled.

I keep my four wheelers in the back yard with two pitbulls. No problems yet.

When I took a trip last year, I put a cover on my quad that was inside the bed of my truck. But before I put the cover on, I hung one of those door **** alarms that when moved, sounds a really loud alarm. You must rest it against something so it doesn't just sway in the wind. But if someone tries to remove the cover, the alarm sounds. It does kind of suck when you yourself have to remove the cover because the alarm will sound. It's not water proof and all you have to do is turn it off with the switch. So it's only good if you are within earshot. And willing to engage a thief. But the alarm will probably scare off most thiefs. Good luck.
