My son just bought a 2008 Polaris 525S today. What are some recommendations for upgrades to the exhaust and jet kits.

Personally I think it is plenty fast enough but he wants it faster than stock! LOL

Wait until the warranty expires before you do anything that could void it IMO.

Thanks for the advice guys!! My opinion is that it is fast enough as it is! All I have ever had has been my 1988 300 FourTrax and this new Polaris feels like a rocket compared to it! We did get to take the bikes to a riding area today and I think my son is going to leave it stock for a while and he even agreed that it was plenty fast! He was just wanting something that would keep up with everyone else.................and then some LOL!

Like Calds650 said, get a JD jet kit in it ASAP. They are coming out very lean to meet California EPA laws. Jetting a quad for temperature and elevation will not void the warranty since it is "maintenance". In fact in the manual it discusses different jetting for different temperatures/elevation as part of the maintenance of the machine.
