What coolant can i use other then Polaris?

i use any,name brand, as long as it says for use with aluminum radiators,make sure you have all the old out,certain kinds don't mix,will gum you up....don't forget to get the air pockets out,don't fill to the top right away,watch it rise+fall some first,watch the hot lights +guages.

 

50/50 premix. Don't mix it yourself unless it's distilled water. Believe it of not non distilled water will ruin aluminum over time.

 

use one without silicates in it. that will distroy the water pump seal rather quick. i actually run dex cool in mine becasue it says right on it that it is silicate/phophate free. and i flush it all the time becasue i have lots of it even though its not needed. good luck.

 

I always used Prestone and mixed it between 50/50 and 70/30 depending on what kind of mood I was in.

 

polaris uses a 60/40 mix in their bikes. but most 50/50 mix is ok as long as it says for alum. rads. which i think pretty much all do now a days.
