Default flat tires

I have the 14" polaris alloy wheels and the bounty hunter tires on my 700 sp.I have problems with tires breaking away from rim while trail riding, therefore causing flats.I have,
had all 4 taken off rims cleaned and bead sealed
used slime
run more than 5 psi
anybody had this problem and know of any tricks.I did think about trying tubes in tires.I really don't want to replace the tires right now being they are less than half woreout.

Get 12" wheels and tires and most of your problems will be solved. Maybe you can trade with someone and make a few bucks. I can't know anything else to do since you're already using slime.

I have tubes in all my tubeless tires, I was sick of adding air every 3 weeks. You can put tubes in tubeless tires, they just pop out your old valve stem to make way for the tube's stem.

Tubes might be the way to go. It almost sounds like the tires were sitting too long in a stack and got compressed. They should not be derimming like that.

My only thought is what is the width of the Rim vs the width of the tire. If the rim is too much wider than the tire (i.e the tire looks to be pulled out towards the beads) that would cause an undue amount of stress on the bead.

It would probably hold air ok sitting around, but could lose air pretty quick when you were riding.

Looks to be $15 each from this site.

When I bought my ATV used they already had them in.

I read somewhere that 14" wheels will cause bead leaks because there isn't as much room to give in the sidewall. The rims are an inch closer to the ground and it takes less sideways force to pull the tires off on curves. Tubes should fix it though.

I know this to be true with low profile car tires....so I would think it would be true here as well. I would go with the tubes as well since you have tried everything else I could think of.

With a fraction of the tire pressure of a car it seems like a real possibility. It's a wonder we aren't throwing tires left and right. Since we aren't, that 1 inch less rubber on the ground must make a lot of diference.
