Battery Problems
#1
My wheeler is in a shop right now and i need a battery. they wanna charge me $60 for a new one. but ive seen batterys in walmart and stuff for about $30. i know the acid needs to be charged in them but would i be able to put the battery in and have the bike charge the battery itself or should i pay the extra money and get it done right?

I've had a couple of cheap batteries and they didn't seem to last as long. They used a nut and bolt on the terminals instead of just a bolt and it's really frustrating if you drop the nut and lose it like I did. They shouldn't even have one on it, but the generic batteries were set up so you could put the cables on the side or the top. The terminals were soft and hollow, and I ended up breaking one.

I would stick with Yuasa as they make the best battery out there right now for quads (IMO). If it makes you feel any better, I just paid $136 for a new one for my sp700 because I broke the terminal mount!
