stendori I was looking at your "more pics" and was wondering about your winch, I bought one of those gorilla 2500lbs w/synthetic cable and mounting plate model specific@ $99.99 + 26.99 shipping brand new and been hesitant to put it on because it seems as though its going to block the radiator. A couple of quick questions if you don't mind.....How has it held up&do you think it was worth the $? Were you able to use stock bumper and still have it bolt up? Have you noticed your fan kicking on more often? A buddy of mine claims that I need a different bumper or a brush guard to have it bolt up without interference to the cooling system and that they are junk compared to a warn winch thats the reason for me asking.</end quote></div>
if you were looking at my 800, then thats a 3.0 warn winch(way mmore then 100.00 lol) and no it doesnt really interfear w/ the cooling since theres a plastic cover usually there where the winch sits. i bought one of thise gor. winches for the wifes bike so hopefully tomorow she can try it out. i didnt need any special bumper to get anything to fit as well.
hey lima did you get your battery issues straighten out? just wondering.

Yeah it was the red one I seen and yep I wish I had the extra coin for a warn but had to get what I could swing at the time. Thanks for the reply about the cooling, I was worried for nothing.

Ive gotten the new battery, (Early Fathers' Day present from the Dog, Odie), but havent installed it yet. I used the machine to put in the boat in the lake today, (With old battery fully charged), and it only lastest a few applications B4 it started dragging at every start-up. I DO hope its the battery and not something more severe. Maybe this weekend will be nice enuff to install the new battery and take a longer excursion. Thanks for askin', Steve.

my gas mileage is horrible too, but i think its from pulling my buddy's artic cat all the time.</end quote></div>
That's why it's called Artic Crap.
I get probably 10-25 mpg depending on what I'm doing. I never keep an accurate count. My Trailblazer was a lot worse on gas.
