Not wanting to sound like a know-it-all but, I know it's clean. How, because I used a light (shining through the rad. on the back side while looking from the front) and can see every row top to bottom is clean. How do I go about burping it to see if that's it. Thanks

 

And this bike only has 22 hrs. on it.

 

Take the cap off the radiator and run the engine for a few minutes to see if the coolant level goes down. If it does, keep adding coolant and running it until it doesn't drop anymore. Then fill the overflow bottle to the full line again. If there's a better way to get the air out I don't know what it is. How hot is it really? Is it boiling over, or is it just the light coming on telling you that it THINKS it's hot?

 

make sure it is not air bound which will over heat it easily.

 

Nobody ask what year the Quad is and model?

It could be the ECM...As this controls the "HOT" light......Correct?

Just something to check if all is clean,and fan is running....How soon does the light come on after the rad is cleaned?.......................................... ......Caper............
