Default 2006 Hawkeye

I have a 2006 Hawkeye that has about 75 hours on it and I'm getting a squeak in the suspension. It isn't real loud but It seems to be in the front and I notice it if I sit on it or bounce the suspension. Any suggestions?

Exactly it's a creaking sound. All of my grease fitting have been greased and I still have the sound????

Spray down your springs/shocks with some lubricant, something that wont damage the rubber seals.

I tried that previously . I used some silicon spray and it's still making the noise. Any other ideas what to try?

Thanks

Well I'm afraid this is a common issue with the Hawkeye and we may just have to live with it...My wifey's Hawk has done it from day one and I thought it would work it's way out of it, but no dice.
I would guess that it is somewhere in the A-arm or control arm bushings...maybe they aren't getting enough grease from the fittings.

Mine has no grease fittings up front at all.

actually your right, the 06 Hawkeyes didn't have fittings on the front a-arms, that was added in '07! Maybe removing the bushings and pivot tubes and greasing them may solve the "creak"

jokout is on the right path

i had/have the same problem. with mine it seems to be the inner bushings on the rear suspension.. each side has to bolts (upper and lower) that i take out, inside are those real good "self greased" bushings that don't work for crap... so about every 6 months i pull the bolts, bushings, pivot tubes and clean everything real good and pack in as much grease as it can take.. it gets rid of the creeking noise for a while...

Mine did the same thing when I was riding in the mud but my squeaks were coming from the shocks. All I did was spray off with the pressure washer, and hit em with some silicone spray.
