Default Finding TDC on '02 Trailboss

I am performing a valve adjustment on my 2002 Trailboss and am having trouble finding top dead center. The view port above the pull starter was opened and pulling cord rotates the "fly wheel?". Can anyone describe the TDC mark? Better yet, anyone have a picture? It is a bit rusty in there from the previous owner.

Also, what should the compression be on this ATV?

Thanks.

It's almost easier to just take the cover off to find TDC on my 00 Boss. Well, actually it was a lot easier. Plus, I got to clean off the housing and seal it better with gasket sealer since the original gasket had worn out in spots.

If there is any dirt or rust on the flywheel it's pretty hard to see. Pull the cover off and clean the flywheel up you'll find it....
