Default Trailblazer shock

I have a 2003 Polaris Trailblazer 400. The Fox 1.5 shock on the rear has lost its air pressure and I was wondering how I could fix this myself? I have access to a nitrogen bottle but cant find anything out about what type of fitting you use to charge. Any help would be appreciated.

chances are it needs to be rebuilt by a professional shock rebuilder if its lost its charge. do a search on the web to find one or maybe someone on here knows of one. a guy in NY does it and his name is bruce shreadder i think.

i have the tool that charges it. it is special, its a needle that you insert through a rubber valve. its like the idea of filling a basketball. but the needle is WAY smaller. your prob going to have to send it out or take it to a dealership that has the tool. If not you could buy the tool online. If your shock lost pressure its prob going to need to be rebuilt. If the shock cycled at all without a charge the oil is now going to be foamed up. And also whats the reason that it lost charge? theres prob a seal that is also shot. I could post a picture on here of what it looks like if you want me to.

Thank you... Is there a kit # that comes with all the seals to rebuild it? If so where would be the best/cheapest place to get it from?

Well I started to take off the rear shock and now have a new problem. I removed upper bolt no problem, but can not get the bottom bolt out. I took the nut off but bolt wont slide out. Shock is loose and bolt will turn. I have tried driving it out with hammer and it wont slide any. Is there something I am missing?

penentrating oil, lots of bad words, lots of pounding and eventually it ill come out. but i would not heat it since the heat would transfer into the shock.

Put the nut halfway on so you can hit it without destroying the threads on the bolt.
