Im fixing to buy a whinch for my atv. Xpedtion 425 2000 model. There are a lot of choices and im leaning towards warn 2000 lb winch. I have already ruled out superwinch because a had one on my old timberwolf yamaha. It gave me a lot of trouble especially the switch. Does warn winch last a long time? can it hold up it be sumerged in water and mud and still work. Does anyone have a rule winch or a ramsey I herd they were good too. Any way what is your experence with youre winch. I am open for any advice you might have or ideas. Please post a topic telling about your winch no madder the brand or model you have!!!

Thanks for any info, comments, ideas, or advice that you might have about youre winch!!!!!

HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!

well since noone answered i will! i feel sorry for you..lol
i havent heard anything bad about the warn except the price can be a little higher than some others. check around for the best price. i wouldnt buy from a polaris dealer cuz they are usually high in my experiences. the 200 pound is an excellent choice the 2500 is the same winch except for a remote switch. i bought a superwinc cuz i only had to pay 40$ for it but its going back to the store. i was gonna put it on my scrambler but it is heavy enough already!

I've got a 2000lb. warn on my wheeler. Haven't used it a lot, but it seems to work just fine.

Tree Farmer knows a lot about winches. Would be good person to ask. But I have the warn 2000 myself. It works great used it many a time. No problems yet. Rule and Ramsey or both very good but more money I think.

I think I have a buyer for my 2000lb. warn. winch.
Local. I appreciate that some have asked me about mine. If he don't buy it then it will be available. I am buying a different 2000lb. warn. winch. You can see in the 2001 polaris atv book. There is a specific one that goes with that new polaris brush guard that I want to buy. My 2000lb.
warn. winch has been on my machine for 2 years. I have had to use it several times. On a couple of occasions, it almost did not have enough power when mine or someone elses atv was almost half burried in the mud. It has always done the job so far. Polaris does want too much money for a winch.
I hope to get the exact one I need some where else. It has always worked though and it has been in plenty of mud. the switch has never been under water, I don't think. rangerchet 2000 polaris xpedition 425 cc 5-speed.

Xpedition 425 4x4, where exactly do you live in Lincolnton? Are there any trails around your way? I live on the out skirts of Denver. About 7 minutes from Boger City. I would e-mail you but Homestead is down so I can't. By the way, I have a Superwinch T1500 and like it pretty good.
