i tried to ride yesterday but it didn't go to well. it was about 99F and 50% humd. i know where a nice mud hole is so i rode there. it's about 5 miles frome the house so the 2 stroke was nice and warm when i got there. like a dunba$$ i didn't check the water temp. and plowed in. i steamed stuff i should'nt have if you know what i mean.

the quad was fine. the jewels got "warm" for a moment and i stood up real quick. no burns or anything like that. just hot enough to get you moving without damage.i got an older quad without all the flairings of the newer quads. it's a dirtier ride but that's half of the fun. the bad part is it was so hot that all the mud dried and fell off before i got home.

I have just the opposite problem where I'm at. It would seem Mother Nature (the old hide) wants it to rain everyday. In the upper elevations near Yellowstone Park where I like to go to ride, it is still snowing. It was snowing up there yesterday and from the information I was able to get from someone I know up in the area, there is still around 7 feet of snow in the backcountry up there. I was able to break trail last year through the snow on the 4th of July. I have a feeling it will be the first week of August, at the earliest, before I can manage it this year. Send a little heat my way would you please?

not in Texas i'm in Western North Carolina. i walked out on the porch and the "thermometer" said 100F (in the shade). i gets this hot in July, August, and parts of September but not this early in the year. it has'nt rained in several weeks(getting very dusty) . i thought we was going to get a thunderstorm yesterday but it went around us. we had a severe drought last year and a wet winter brought the water levels up. i hope it does'nt get that dry again.
