What I don,t get is older models that had no problem with a certain part,are replace with a newer model that does!
How does Polaris think? "Well since our shear pin and ball joint or whatever never had a problem we should try a different type on our newer model and hope we get lucky".
Fix the things that had a bad history,not the things that had no history of troubles.

Of course, there have probably been a number of Polaris parts made in other countries... even the U.S.A... that didn't hold up so well.
Dublin is correct. Q & A is the key no matter where the part is made. However, when it's made in same building, or just down the road, or somewhere where it's within reason to monitor... it's easier to keep on top of things.

Only sheared one , I was joking saying stock them . I don't really know why it broke and no doubt I'll never break one again . Only a flywheel key , u-joint and bendix drive in 6000 miles Polaris makes one fine reliable machine .
