Easier Steering
I think most of us have got "stingers" from hitting stumps and such. Ouch. I think a steering stabilizer would cure that problem. Prices seem to start around $130. Too bad most are made for sport quads and so many of us rides utes. I'll make my own with 2 screen-door closers and duct tape.

My 2000 is much more dificult to turn then a friends 2003, I am pretty sure the other posters are correct in that they changed the angle of the steering rod in 2001. His feels like power steering compared to mine. I have ridden a new Yamaha with power steering and it was nice, but unneeded. I could not get over how much I disliked the Yamaha.

Easier Steering
On my '01 I could park in my concrete driveway and turn the bars back and forth while sitting on it. On my '97 I could barely budge it with the same amount of pressure. After a long day of riding I was always tired and sore. It felt like I just got done wrestling a bear. All that changed on the '01.

My friends 07 700 grizzly steers alot better than my 08 800, but my 08 800 is a dream compared to my other friends 98 sportsman. that thing sucks. anyways, im all for anything that will make the riding experience better and keep me on my quad longer, if that power steering then so be it. it just has to be tough and stand up to anything. then again with gas prices and a ripped axle boot i havent riden in 2 months.
