I lost my manual and this will be my first time changing my oil on my sportsman. i dont feel comfortable changing the oil without the correct speks, and correct drain plugs to pull. Does any body no of a pdf file that i could look at for this subject?

This is for a non EFI, the only difference might be the capacities....not 100% on that

how did you manage to lose you manual??? thats like a family bible.

 

I know at 1 time somebody had the links to download the 05 Sportsman 500 manual and the 08 one too. I did a search and found the thread but they deleted the links for them. If I knew how to put them on the web then let you down load them I would but I'm not very computer savy but I'm sure someone here did and could help you out.

If you dont have any luck PM me and maybe I could burn it to disk and send it to you.

 

That looks just like the manual for my '06. The quad was stolen so all I have is the manual and DVD. All I can do is look at them and reminisce. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

The Polaris website has all the owners manuals for recent bikes. JUst have to browse around the site to find the right web page.
