can a polaris x2 500 fit in a bed of 07 toyota tundra?

I measured the box from inside edge to inside edge and I came up with 76 inches with the tail gate closed (length) and 48 inches (wide).
Am now looking to go 2 hours away to buy one and was wondering it it would fit in the back or if I would have to get a buddies trailer?

My x2 700 fit in my 07 tundra with the tailgate down when it was new. However, with the 27's ,it does not. So, if it is stock, then no problem; otherwise, bring the trailer! If you have a trailer available, I would just bring it to be safe since it is a 2 hour drive. Besides, I don't like loading them in the bed anyway as they are very heavy and the tailgate flexes quite a bit, makes me nervous! We had a lengthy discussion on this forum a few months ago about hauling atv's on a trailer or in the bed. Most everyone agreed a trailer is the easiest and safest.
Did you see a recent broadcast of fishers atv world on outdoor channel? They had a diamond plate cover on the bed of a tundra and you could side load two atv's with an 18" extension and then it had a rollout bed to access your cargo under the cover! Way cool! Check out www.diamondbackcovers.com

I wonder why the Tundra is only 48" between the wheel wells and LESS than 6-1/2 feet long? GM always gives you extra inches of width and length, 50.6x78.7 on a 6-1/2 foot "standard" bed, formerly known as a "short" bed. And 50.6x97.6, instead of 48x96 on an 8 foot long bed, a little extra room to work with when you haul 4'x8' sheet goods. I thought all trucks except compacts were 50" wide between the wheel wells.
