just bought a warn winch and need help wiring it up i dont have the original contact but have one that will work. what side is positive and negative on the winch??

 

there is no pos or neg, as its either foward or reverse on the 2 cables that go from the contacter to the winch itself as it will work either way. if you push the reverse button and it goes out instead, just reverse the cable mounting on the winch itself and it'll be fine. sometimes the contacter is color coated on red and black for the pos. and neg hook up from the batt. wires.
