What would you rather get?
a used 2005 polaris sportsman 500 camo with extras (idk what there are for extras)
or a 2006 polaris sportsman 500 EFI and I dont know what color
They both have low miles
I like them both but im leaning towards the 06 cause of EFI

well it really depends on you, do you enjoy working on your own bikes or are you mainly a rider only...if you like tinkering the 500 HO is going to be a bit easier to work on and basically cheaper to fix, while the 500 EFI is probably going to be easier, period!
The big advantage of the EFI is no rejetting for elevation and no choke cold starting...they just seem to run more consistent under a wide variaty of conditions

just check to see if the 06' has been remapped as some of the efi's had some fuel issues but easily corrected at no cost (i do beleave) by the dealer. i would get the efi hands down. imo.

Hands down, go with the EFI and get the extras you want a little at a time if the dollars are an issue.

sorry I forgot to say that the EFI was $5000 and the H.O. is $4400
I diffinitly like the EFI better now that you guys all agreed it is better too
I just gotta go down to my dealer and see what color it is.
Hopefully it's not beat

Check it out real good. If it was used mostly in the deep mud and water, you could be getting someone elses headake. I know a guy that got one from a dealer and he has had nothing but trouble with it. It looks good, with low miles but they were all in the deep mud by the looks of things. All cv's had to be replaced, starter motor, wheel bearings and other stuff. Unless you can find out who owned it before and call him, I would be very carful on your purchase.
