driven clutch spring postion

Default driven clutch spring postion

i just installed the RCR stage one kit and i love the results so far. what is a good position for the driven clutch? when i took it aprart it was at 2 and 2. i want more power to get to the ground?

For all around power with good back shift stay with the 2-2.Go any tighter than that you may not get a full shift out.

i am keeping the stocl spring. when i looked at it the spring was already in the 2+2 position. i am just want to get more power to the ground to take advantage of RCR's stage one kit that i haev installed.

Call Rick and get you a stiffer secondary spring.I like the Aaen blue for most applications.But Rick will get you either a Dalton or HPD

and then should i have it put to the 2+2 setting? or something different to take advantage of the new spring?

Start at 2-2 if this doesnt do what you want lighten up the heavier spring to 1-1
I run an EPI pink with a Aaen blue and stock weights on a 03 330 Trailboss and it does great tachs out around 6300 and has tons of midrange pull.

how many times should the purple spring from polaris be wound up between the helix and outer casing?

1/3 turn counter clockwise.

i thought that the spring had a few turns to it? like 1 or 2 complete turns?
