Counterbalancer bearings blew and knock 4 holes in the side where worm gear drives the oil injector pump should i get it welded or find another crankcase side

Depends if you can stop it from leaking fluid (c/balancer cavity only holds about 75-100 cc's oil) Also new counterbalancer? Gear pressed on,bearing not offered by polaris but have had customers MARK gear to c/balancer shaft, press off and find new bearing at local bearing house. Beats price of new c/b! If waterpump end of c/b bad (grooved, rough) bite the bullet because w/pump seals will leak into cavity. If replacing c/b, replace crank gear also! 350 and 400 good engines, but expensive to repair sometimes. Good luck.
