My new POPO is just nasty. I went riding again today, and really got a taste of what this little ole 500ho can do. I pulled 2 loads of stepping stones out of the creek today up on the mountain. I got 23 good sized flat river stones. The largest weighing about 65-70lbs and the lightest weighing about 20-25lbs, and many in between. The second I hauled probably has 75-80lbs on the front and 200lbs on the back. Has a long steep hill to climb going out, my POPO just muscled it's way up the hill. I'm 6'2 225lbs myself. I barely could feel the load on there...

Anyways, just wanted to share my first stonry on working the ole girl, she's a workhorse alright...

And rock crawling in rock creek was easier than I thought it would be...

Ya you can pull pretty much until you get all 4 wheels spinning like towing logs for firewood. Then I just grab the saw & shorten it. Pull a snowmobile trailer with both sleds on, pulls fine but don't stop so well on snow/ice.

yeah, i was definitely impressed...

I'm going to be buying another one here within the next few weeks, probably next weekend.

Think I'm going to make a drive to athens, tennessee, and pick up a 2008 800 for only 6800 out the door. I'll still have to pay GA sales tax when they bill me..

I'm going to give my dad the 500 i just bought a month ago and keep the 8 hundgie for myself... Looking at the stealth black.

?? Does the camo hide scratches and dust better than regular colors?

You'll love the 800. Except for the gas mileage.

Mtnhiker, yes the camo seems to hide scratches better than the other colors. I have the Mossy Oak and the wifes bike is red. Both bikes have been ridden in the same places, one behind the other since we got them and the red bike alreay shows scratching and hazing. The camo looks flawless, I really debated about the camo when we bought the bikes but I'm glad I went with it.

WHEWWWW HOOOOOO

Well folks, i just got back from driving to Athens, TN. Took me about 2 hours each way but was worth it...

Picked up a 2008 Sportsman 800efi in all black w/ a 2500lb winch installed all for a total of 6700. out the door. My local dealer wanted almost 8k for just the quad...

Going riding in a few hours, will post some pictures over the weekend..
