They tried to add on the dealer prep but I made sure it was a part of the agreed upon price. I got a 2007 sportsman 500 EFI deluxe for $6800 out the door. That was after tax, title, prep, etc. It was a good price compared to what they were asking. It was also in july so there weren't any end of year sales going on either.
There are definitely plenty of trails all over the northern part of the state from east to west.

Delivered price for our 2008 800 X2 LE's with the Polaris 3500 winch, front bumper/brushguard and work light installed was $9,300 each. The very first Polaris dealer I visited warned me that Cedar Creek would try to tack on a ridiculous amount for dealer prep. I don't have much stomach for dealerships that start a customer relationship that way.

i just bought the machien and then did the mods myself. I paid 8300 OTD for the 800 X2, then I ordered the Rims bumper and hand guard on line. 83ea on the rims, 149.00 on the bumper 32 on the hand guards, 40 bucks freight. Then I bought the tires form Rockymountain 350. I got about 9200.00 in mine an about 4 hours of my time in it so far.
I have a set of wilyco duals ordered for it that should be in, about a week from now. there not for an X2 but I think I can get them to work. That should finish me up at about 10k total.

It works out to about 500.00 off list less the 800.00 rebate they have on them the past couple months for a total of 1300.00 off list. I thought they might have gotten a little cheaper later this summer, but I wanted the 800 LE x2 and they didn't make too many of those, I called several dealers and ended up driving 3 hours one way to get this one. So I was afraid to hold out for a better deal later in the year when the fall closeouts start.

I had a dealer about 3 hours away from me quote an out the door price of $8,000.00 which may have changed by the time I signed the papers, but I opted for a local dealer. I doubt dealers will have any X2 LE's left in the fall. I had a hard time finding a local dealer with one in stock, let alone a second one coming in. I understand allocations were extremely limited, I guess it depends on how badly a dealer wants to move his inventory as to how low he will go.
I'm not aware of a $800 Polaris Rebate currently being offered. What state are you located in and when did you purchase your X2 LE?

The national offer is for up to $800 in rebates on select models (see your local dealer). The rebate in effect in June for the 2008 800 X2 model here in Wisconsin was your choice of a $260 rebate or a free Polaris 2500 winch. I went with the winch and upgraded to the Polaris 3500 winch. Perhaps rebates vary by state.

They never disclosed what the rebate actually amounted to, they just had a paper that said all rebates were applied to the purchase. I jsut figured there most expensive machines had there biggest rebates. You may verry well be right and it wasn't 800 like I thought. I was mainly looking at the bottom line vs the list price thinkg 1300 off a limmited build machine was pretty decent. I just didn't figure they were reaching in there pocket to discount it more than 500. So if it was a lot less than a 800 reabate, and more in the 250 range, then they were discounting it pretty deep.

One good thing about the wider aftermarket offsets, is they are pretty much mount them on an go, to setup one up like mine, with the factory offsets and the larger tires , you have to flip the tierods over, so the wider front tires wont rub them. Its not hard to do, now that I have done it once, I am sure I could do it in under a half hour next time.</end quote></div>
Do you think I would have any issues mounting either of these size combinations:
Terracross R/T XD's
Front 25x9R-14 Back 25x10R-14 on ITP SS 108 rims?
or
Front 26x9R-14 Back 26x11R-14 on ITP SS 108 rims?
Thanks!
