Well I took the ol Polaris to Temiscaming, Quebec last week for a bear hunt. Racked up some serious miles on only a week. It was a 30 mile one way ride to the stand. I ended up taking a nice size Sow bear. I'll try to attach a link to a couple pictures.

Wow, that bear is huge! DId you haul it out on the ATV? Any pics of that?

 

I don't have any pictures of it on the polaris. It was a 225lb bear. Plenty big enough for sure. It was the biggest one we killed last week. She had some massive teeth and paws.

 

Nice bear. Isn't it great to have the quad to get in and out of the hunt?

 

Very much so. I tried driving the truck on the roads once and it just took too long due to how slow you had to go.

That's a nice bear for sure. How much that thing weigh? Is it a boar?

 

Yes, don't know the weight, what is important around here is to do better than the revious year. I would say the weight wold be around 375 live weight.

 

That's testing the hauling capacity of the polaris really good.

we have a few bears around here that are into dumpster diving... i wouldent mind taking one during season but i live on a reservation and i dont think the natives would be too happy about that...
