Most aggressive TRAIL tire?

All -
It seems like aftermarket MUD tires
rule the roost around here and rightly
so, but I was wondering if you just wanted
a much better aggresive tire for the
dusty hard pack trails (dir, gravel and some
rock) what would you recommend? And
what rims to go with those tires?
Thanks in advance!

Personally for a good all around tire, my Mudlite XTRs were great. They were good on the pavement, dirt roads, and mud. My Mudzillas are horrible on pavement, not bad on dirt roads and great in the mud. If I was concerned about an all around tire I would go back to the XTRs in a heartbeat!!

All good to know, question what about those TRAIL tires that have
Bow-tie or Terracross type treads? Are those more favorable for
hardpack, gravel, and dirt conditions?
Thanks guys for all the great info.!
