I am new with atv's and I just bought a 97 trailblazer. The prvious owner blocked off the oil injection and I am wanting to hook it back up. Where does it hook up at?
Thanks Kyle

From oil tank to pump, from pump to cylinder inlet at bottom of cylinder fitting(small line).Do you have all lines and connections? If re-install, BLEED pump for air(slotted screw on top of pump) and premix first tank to be sure . CHECK pump first to see if corroded or pump arm frozen! Hold PUMP arm up all the way while idling to see if oil is going from pump to base of cylinder fitting. Pumps are usually bullet proof on 250 and 300 engines, but 400 pumps are in front and catch mud and water! bad location.

I have the line coming from the oil tank but I am not sure what to look for to hook it up from there. I am not sure where the oil pump is located or what it looks like.

I am still working on this thing trying to get it hooked back up. Where is that oil pump located, Also the trans stick has some play in it and it is hard to get into gear. Anyone know what that might be?

Oil pump behind engine to the right. Check arm on trans ,tighten if loose, drain and refill fluid, make sure idle not toohigh, can cause grinding, hard shifting. Good luck

I sure appreciate your help. This thing has a fox rear shock. How do you adjust those shocks to ride softer?

Adjustment collar at back, can unscrew to soften up, be careful dont damage. Can be hard to adjust if dirty and gritty.

I just picked up a 2000 Traiblazer 250. Previous Owner did not use injection system for OIL but premixed. I would like to use the injection system for convienence. Is premix better for the quad?????? If so, what is the best ratio to use??????

I've read here where one person said the ratio is 32:1 but several other people said 40:1.
