RCR just sent me a purple polaris secondary spring, im relacing my stock black one with the purple one. what should i set it at? 2+2 or something different?

 

you can try differnt set ups but for best result i would ask rick what he recommends on his spring he sent you. imo.

 

i just had a dealer wind and compress my new secondary spring (polaris purple) and i can push the helix about 1.5 to 3 inches in and the whole secondary clutch moves out. when i had the original spring in (polaris black) i was only able to compress it just enough to get the snap ring off. did the dealer not wind the new spring enough? or is correct?

 

he did it wrong or the spring came out of the hole

 

i can see the prong of teh spring in the helix. so u mean in side the acutal housing then. i had it on teh quad and it ran but not like i thouhgt it would.

 

how many times should the purple polaris spring be wound up? isnt the purple spring from like 500 scramblers? should i have it wound up that many times or a different number of turns?
