Default Lift kit opinions

only when i play "lets go get stuck"! sometimes its just fun to see how deep or far you can go,my 2500# WARN has never ket me down yet and i have seen smoke pour from it!! i will have to take some pics ..

Do you ever have trouble with the shafts popping out and are they stock? How does it ride?

rides better than stock by far,it stiffer but not too bad and i have a bad back..i have never popped out a axel out of the cv,just twisted or snaped them

I am glad to here that it rides okay but not so glad about the twisting and snapping part. How easy are the cv's to break? Any tips on how to prevent?

you just got to watch your thumb in the thick stuff..the bigest problem is grabbing a rock or root under the mud and then tire stops the weakest link will break..when i had just the tires and no lift i even snapped axels..but i am sure i ride harder than most on this forum..go to the highlifter forum , now thats where the big boys play.we are talking 6" lifts and 31"laws, now that gets the job done!! NO DISRESPECT INTENDED!!

You must ride hard like you say because I thought that I rode hard but haven't broke an axle yet. Yes I have seen the big boys I want to stay on the porch. I love the sport and would like to have a big mudder but by wallet can't handle the maintainance. I would like to have one in addition to the one I have so that I could use the mudder only for show and competitions but I can't afford the mudder or the gas to get to the events. I have a 500 HO and the wife a 400 and thats 14 grand by itself. Thanks for the replies and I will tell you what I think of my lift when I get it and install it.

Default Lift kit opinions

Well I got the lift installed and I have to say that it was really easy to do. I am very satisfied with the look and feel of it. I rode it all day Sunday and the ride was a little stiffer but I like it stiffer. I ran it at high speeds and felt of the hubs, axles, and bearing houshing and all was cool. I got stuck a few times and gave it hell a few times and everything went fine. I think that it is safe to say that I like the lift but we will find out more later.
