2009 P0LARIS LINE-UP
The new 2009 Outlaw 450 is in September's Quad Magazine and it weighs something like 6 lbs lighter, with re-designed platic, stndardized fasteners, No pro steering, a redesigned seat, a 3ish gallong gas tank and the same crappy intake as the '08s... Just thought you guys should know now that it's out I've known for a while, but these changes were not enough to keem me from buying my 2008 KTM 525 XC... should be a nice sport quad tho...

I was at the dealership yesterday, and saw the sales manager sitting at a table with another "important looking" guy in a suit whispering. I talked to her afterward and she said that she was going to the dealer convention in Vegas? next week. When asked about what she knew about new models or anything, all she did was give a big grin, but she wouldn't tell me anything.

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>What a min., didn't I start this thread last week? -- LOL -- LOL </end quote></div> That's because your thread wasn't as informative. I hope they make a Scrambler with IRS, a 6x6 with dual IRS and a seat like the X2, etc., etc. You ever notice that when you have the most time you have the least money and when you have the most money you have the least time???

Now, put the 850 cc in the midsize chassis, & we'll talk.</end quote></div>
It is only 14lbs heaver than the 08 800, granted the 08 is a tank, but considering adding what 70cc's and Powersteering, and possibly a hydraulic style tranny I'd say a 784lb 850cc machine is at least as acceptable as a 770lb 760cc machine IMO. Also it adds basically 1hp per pound of weight gain, I thinking that should be more than sufficient, lol.
