Default 2000 trailboss 325 tranny oil?

just wanting to know what oil too put in the tranny and how much too put in it. i bought this bike used and have changed the engine oil using mobil 1 0w40 synthetic is this a good oil? also how do you change the tranny oil? how often do you change it?

PM me your email address and I can send you the page out of the Polaris service manual. The drain on the back of the gearcase uses a jamb nut. It's a lot easier to understand with the picture.

I'd just use the Polaris synthetic gear case oil. They sell it in a quart, and it only holds 11.3 ounces. So it will last a bit. Unless you have a leak.

Been using Mobil 1 since I got it. Never had any issues with it.
