1. Have key turned off for at least ten seconds.
2. Shift into neutral.
3. Hold the yellow mode/override button while you turn the switch on.
4. Release the mode/override button as soon as the display is activated.
The screen should now be showing battery voltage.
5. Press the mode/override button four times, pausing between each press.
the wrench icon should now show on your display and the top left corner of display should have an hourglass symbol.
6. Now press and hold the mode/override button until the wrench icon flashes.
7. Now press the mode/override button quickly to run the numbers up to how many hours you want to set for the next service (most people do 50). Once you get to the desired number stop pushing button and after a few seconds the wrench will stop flashing.
8. Once the wrench icon stops flshing turn off your switch.
Now your service interval is set up, the bike will now automatically count down from the number you set, to zero. At which time the wrench icon will start flashing again.

First you must enter the diagnostics mode.
1.Turn key switch off,wait ten seconds
2.Hold mode/reverse overridebutton and turn the key switch on. Realease the switch as soon as the display is activated.
3. Use mode/reverse override button to toggle to the service interval screen.
4.Press and hold button for 2 to 3 seconds until wrench icon flashes,release button.
5.Press and realease the mode button once to advance the setting by one hour. Press and hold the button to advance the hours quickly.
6.When the desired setting is displayed wait for the wrench icon to stop flashing, the new service interval is now programmed.
This is the short version out of my owners manual. Mine is an '08 but they should be the same.In the '08 manual you can find the full version starting on pages 47-54. Once again I'd bet that the '07 manual is the same.
