Most shops in our area are between $65-$95 labor rate. Ours is $75 (North Texas area)

Not too far off from my Dodge car dealer that I had to pay $95 (1hr of labor) for a fee for inspecting my brakes under warrenty (BS). Had to pay the fee cuz I wasn't going to give them $600 for just two new front brake pads (They oversold this service call said I needed new caliburs, rotors, pads etc). Advanced Auto $42.00 and did the pads myself saved about $558 dollars. BTW, my caliburs and rotors were fine, those bunch of crooks!

Not sure what they charge at mine. It's usually pretty reasonable though. A couple of times I've been like WTF? when I got the bill but after looking into how much time it took to actually do the job it was reasonable. They usually cut me a decent break on labor and they don't charge what it actually took to do the job.

$65.

But I don't go to the dealer unless I can't do the work myself.
