I felt like I was being punished for leaving my computer for so long. Now I'm back to the Polaris site to see the new toys. It's like Christmas. [img]i/expressions/present.gif[/img]

Thanks MWQ. My friends who still work for GM get 2 weeks off for the 4th of July, and one guy took an extra week of vacation time too. Last year he had to work one week and only had one off. That sucked because it goes by so fast. As long as gas prices are high it looks like we'll only go riding on holiday weekends. Otherwise it's not worth the 4-5 hour round trip.

 

stendori you SOB-lol-I NEVER had a problem till I read this post and now it seems as though its happened at least 5 times--might of happened in the past and just paid it no attention, but yes I have and its not your PC-it is the forums or server. Thanks for making me aware & aggravated - lol

havent been able to even get into the forum for the whole week, thought it was maybe the aol screwing it up but all i was getting was a page that said unable to find atvconnections. didnt work this morning but now it does, i see others were getting in an posting all week

 

It took me a couple of days to figure out that I had to erase all my cookies and temp files, etc., then I could use the forum, although with many problems, if I didn't sign in. I used Crap Cleaner (now C Cleaner) and if I replied to a post I would leave, run C Cleaner again, come back but not sign in, and it was "okay". Yesterday it went back to normal thanks to D Beck's hours of hard work.

Well I spent all my time this morning typing this and couldnt get it to post so even if its too late I'm still trying to post it!-------I think its a forum server or maybe forum issue, this morning when I typed the above post in this thread the page went blank like it was trying to load my reply-I then rebooted my system just to make sure it was not my PC, came back to forum & thread and retyped my reply and it still took a awfully long time to go through. This has not been a big issue in the past as its happened VERY FEW times since joining, so few that I think could maybe attributed to another member trying to post/reply at the same time to the same thread. It has been the last 3-4 days Ive noticed this glitch happening and this morning from looking at the times between posts being posted there is a 4min time slot so 2 members posting at same time is not a possible reason and the DSL package I have gives me - 8MG download & 512KB upload - so speed on my end is not in question and leaves me to believe its on the server/forums end. Hope this info helps-MW
