6x6 with IRS!!!! I sent them an email 2 years ago and asked for this. The only thing they didn't do that would have iced it for me is to put an X2 seat on it, in the big bed. Think about it... A 2-up machine with lots of space for camping gear and a 6wd drive train that would be almost unstoppable. It looks like it is the BEST all around ATV for getting into tight spots and hauling whatever needs to get dragged out of the woods.
I like the XPs. I'm sure my son (speed freak) would rather have one of them than his ATP. It's odd that they stayed at essentially the same weight. I would think that they would have gone with the bigger engines and less weight to really effect the power to weight ratio.
I'm glad they kept the regular Sportsman models too. I wish they would add power steering to the whole Sportsman lineup including the 2-ups and especially the 6x6.

I didn't think Polaris built ANY of their motors. My friends 330 Magnum is a Robin (sp) which is made by Subaru. The motor on my Hawkeye is made by Fuji which is Mazda isn't it? Or am I wrong?

A couple things to note that I haven't seen mentioned.
The EPS has a 4.5 gallon fuel tank.
The lower winch mount location is a nice touch IMO. More suceptible to water though. My 08 800 has the winch mounted too high IMO, it doesn't give the best line of pull and puts alot of stress on the frame at a bad angle when pulling low. The winch should be mounted as close to frame center as possible. When pulling on something low(like a large log) it will pull the front end down too much, even at a distance. Ive actally had it lift the rear wheels off the ground.
Anyone want to buy a low hour 08? LOL. I have a shoulder injury so I am really considering pickig up one for the power steering.

Guys, check out page 4-5 in the link below. Zoom in the the stripped-down 800 and you can see the whole engine, exhaust, transmission, fuel tank, etc. Looks very cool. I hope they have some good heat shielding on the header pipe otherwise it's going to melt the crap out of the plastic side panels worse than before.
