Looks good. Did you notice talk of the Service update to lower exhaust temps? They were talking about it in another thread.

Mine should already be updated, i thought the 2008's were correct out of the box.

This is a huge problem for me as well, I've had more kids shoes melting than I care to so I'm also interested to find out if this would work well. Anyone??

I wouldn't use that, mud and stuff would build up in that bag thing.

What about this other one I posted? Do you think that would be too tight to the pipe and cause any problems?

Default New Polaris heat shield

I have the ebay heat shield and it WORKS. You can touch it during a ride with your bare hand, and no mud buildup. It is not really a bag - it lays there doubled up, so if any mud gets in between the layers it would be minimal.

dont buy the metal heat shield it doesnt work, i got an 08 800 it till is super hot by your leg
