I switched from a Foreman 450 to a Polaris Sportsman 500. In my opinion for what you are doing I would get a used Foreman 450. They are bulletproof. The low range(1st gear) will have plenty of power for pulling a sprayer and the thing will last forever. In my opinion the transmission type is better suited for the work as well.
I switched to a sportsman because of the ride on the trails and the ground clearance.

If you all would read the post he wants a used one.The ATP would be a great choice for what he is wanting to do.Either a 500 or 330 which ever he could find.

I agree. The ATP would be just about ideal for farmwork. Maybe even better is a Sportsman 6x6. It's a SRA that can haul 800 pounds in the box and tow 1,500 pounds. NADA says an '01 is $2,965 average retail. It's just like the '08 6x6 but $5,000 cheaper. Honda doesn't like to publish their rack capacity or towing capacity like everyone else does, but there hasn't been one made that comes close to a Polaris. I'm stating a fact, not just an opinion. The best I can find in any review of a Honda was 850 pounds which isn't enough to safely tow a fully loaded 100 gallon sprayer that someone else has estimated to weigh a good 1,000 pounds. If you only need to tow 850 pounds, a Trailblazer will do that and costs under $4,000 brand new.
Buying an ATV for towing when you know is rated too small doesn't make much sense to me. I thought it was just common sense to buy a vehicle that's rated to tow what you have that needs towing. Maybe not, but that's my opinion.
P.S.
I know opinions are like a--holes. We all have them and most of them stink. Nobody has to like them.
