Sportsman vs Scrambler
#1
I recently purchased a 2002 500 scrambler 4x4 and also have a 2001 sportsman 500. I've noticed the low end power on the scrambler is no where near as good as the sportsman. Is this difference in the clutching or gearing I assume? It seems like the scrambler revs high but just doesn't get the power to the wheels that good....can anybody help

They come clutched similarly stock. Some one may have changed the clutching in the Scrambler. But the Sprorsman could be geared lower than the Scrammy in the trannny

Check out Gen3USA for some good info on how to tweak your Scrambler. Alot of Scrambler, TrailBlazer, and Sport owners over there.
