I like the larger deeper lugs,because even when the tires are haft wore out they still look nicer and have more traction than New Stock tires. LOL

Not sure if you purchased or not yet but just my two cents....If you ride in the desert or high desert as in Socal Mt. Deserts yopu might want to concider at least a 4ply preferable a 6ply. I have a 07 500x2 and currently run ITP Mudlites 26x9/12 and 26x12/12 in the rear... I used to have a 10" up front but had to run spacers and didnt like them. So far no rubbing on the 9" up front @ 5psi. Plus I am stil under 50" across. I have had the carlisas 589 and had to much problem with punctures. YOu will lose a little power, but Im sure that is not why you are running a Utility quad. As far as towing power and such it is barely noticable.

THANKS for your wishes! Good to hear on the rubbing. My supplier said I will have no front rubbing issues w/ the 26x9x12 ITP 589's (6 ply) AND the ITP SS108's wheels. So it looks like that's the set I'm going with. I really appreciate everybody's input! Matthew at www.ATVConnecton.net did a great job of addressing all concerns and is right on w/ the price. Pullin that trigger later this week. I do love this site. It has really gotten me off to a great start![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

w/ aftermarket rims you wont have any rubbing concerns at all.
