DANG!THE DEALERSHIPS ARE DROPPING LIKE FLYS HERE
When I lived in the south metro of Mpls/StP,MN, I did my business with Tahoe Sports in Rosemount, MN.They also had a rental store then next time I stopped in the Polaris side of it was closed up 04/07. They said they wanted to just have the one business. Too bad to cause it was only a couple miles from where I worked. Now I deal with Troy at Bagley Motorsports in Bagley MN. (Polaris,Arctic Cat/Snapper/Cub Cadet/and a pawn shop with guns as a bonus!!!) He's great to deal with and always treats us right. When I'm ready to deal on a trade in, he'll get my business for sure plus thats right in the area we ride in anyway. None of us do business with the local dealer in Grand Forks, ND. where I live now. They suck bigtime for service/parts anyway.

Well we've lost probably 6 car dealerships in the Central NY area in the past two years....... but as far as I know none of the cycle dealers have closed..... in fact the local Honda/Yamaha/AC dealer just added the KTM line.... and a local Kawasaki/Polaris just added the Suzuki line......I'm guessing that is a good sign for them.....

Tell me about it!!! GM pulling out drove some people to suicide. Their families have to live on the dead peoples life insurance, if it pays out on a suicide. It's even worse in the U.P. than it is down here. When they closed the Air Force Bases after The Cold War they pulled out 10,000 people at Kincheloe and it was probably worse at the other two. All of a sudden the local businesses had no customers. When they made a prison at Kinross at least some people in the area could get jobs as prison guards.
Michigan has had two things that kept the economy going after most of the trees in state were cut down for lumber. Auto plants, and B-52 Bomber bases so we could nuke the Soviet union. It's been a downhill slide for 30 years and I don't see it ever getting better.

Yea my WVA dealer sells the KTM, Kaws, of course Victory,
alll the side by sides, and just new the CAN-AMs.
I don't think there are too many just Polaris only Cycle
shops, I am sure they want to appeal to as many for
better business. But if you ask the owner and salespersons
they will always direct you on the Polaris.

I have to drive 15 miles or so to my dealer. it's a real small outfit but I get good prices and the service is always top notch. I doubt he sells a lot when compared to other dealers. I know the service and attention I get from him is far, far superior than I've ever received from a larger dealer. Why? because being in a small area word travels fast. he makes one person mad and everyone hears about it. He can't rip people off on new ATVs or screw them over on repairs. He's be out of business in short order.
