Default Phoenix 200 experience?

Anybody have one of these that could offer an opinion pro or con? The only reviews that I could find in this forum were from 05!
Getting rid of the KFX700 and getting the wife something ALOT smaller. Guy at work has a PINK Polaris Phoenix 200 that he needs to sell.
Opinions appreciated.

WOW, now that's a HUGE step down! Although I have no real first hand experiance with the Phoenix, I guess I was under the impression that it was more of a youth bike then adult ride...you really should have her test ride it to see if it is enough machine for her!

A guy I ride with bought one for his kid last year. All the rubber seals around the transmision housing looked like they were shot (cracked) from the factory. I know it's been back to the dealer for clutch trouble and tranny problems.
He told me it's for sale now due to the problems.

Thanks for the input so far. Forgot to mention that it's a 2007 model. My wife is 5'5" 125lbs so the KFX is definitely big for her. Just wanted her to be able follow a group of several DS's around but not have to worry with shifting. She just doesn't grasp the concept! She can't seem to keep the front end of the Kawi down so it's going to be a smaller bike for her. I'm leaning towards the Honda 300's but just exploring my options, and the guy at work has a good deal if it's a reliable bike.
