if it works, injection system is better, it changes ratio depending on engine rpm

OK, do you think it would be worth the effort to drop this thing by a dealer and have them give it a once over.......or is that just asking for a large bill......

ok only one more question for the experts...

if I premix 40:1 ratio. and also fill up the OIL Tank. Lets say the tank / pump works fine......will that not overload the ratio and make this ATV run badly

You will need to bleed the oil pump.Unhook the line and run it with premix and watch for drops.

I would also use the injector, I agree with ftwflh on the process.
Mixing gas and oil sux unless you have a high perf motor. The 250 uses so little oil you would have to drive for days to see the oil tank level drop, a very long day anyway.

ok, looks like the pump is located all the way in back of engine. just gonna have to remove plastics to get better look at it I guess and trace lines.
