I've seen two right rear bolts break so far, one on my '01 500 and one on a friend's 700, but haven't seen a left front or any others break.

I know you guys were talking about the rear A-arms. I just haven't seen a front bolt break on one.

Are we talking about the bolt that connects the lower rear A-arm to the bearing carrier? It threads into the A-arm and has no nut on the opposite side of the A-arm?
If this is the one, it has been used on every Sportsman since 2002 and every Ranger since 2004! That is a LOT of bolts! And why is this happening on just the left side?

Note: The Hawkeye/ Sportsman 300/400 use a through bolt design with a bolt-nut arrangement...the new Sportsman 850/550 XPs also share this design change!
