my wifes 2006 hawkee has no power at 3/4 to full throttle and appears to be running lean. we are at 5000 ft elavation and have been up to 9100 with no problems. my 2006 had the opasate problem (running rich). this was helped by leaning it down one notch and i think the slide that contolles the jet was stuck, but any way after taking it apart it runs good now. any ideas about carb problems and cures would be greatly appreciated. doug

 

welcome to the forum. i beleave if you dod a search on the hawkeye, you'll find they had carb carb issues at higher elev. and i do beleave they had dealers rework the carbs to fix this issue in 06'. someone like mongrol can tell you better(or someone else w/ an 06').
