I hate that Bigger is better Crap, I have family that says why did you buy a 500 when you could have bought a 800, why did you buy a 30-30 when you shoulda bought a 300 mag, shoulda woulda coulda, I see it all the time bigger is better only applys to *****. The biggest problem is that people have family and freinds that tell them to buy a great big quad or any machine and they have no experience, then they get hurt or killed, we have a big problem in okc with choppers and novice riders they are crashing like flys.</end quote></div>
Carefull of the highlighter portion RickeyP, people have been seriously injured by those things. lol</end quote></div>

Yea, people need to understand the point of "You must learn to crawl before you
can walk". Of course, my number two started waking before crawling but she is
a little different then most kids.
Yea we had a pretty good ATV riding party that all met up at GreenRidge State Park (Mountains).
My friend had a work friend that is actually a seasoned rider -- GO FIGURE. He had his
Yamaha Raptor 600 man that thing is fast. He was all decked out in his riding gear all
blue to BOOT (LOL) and riding his chick on the front blasting through all that hard pack
gravel and such. She was wearing only a top very short shorts, lots of bare skin
and flip flops. He was racing around like a NUT! No helmet, No eye protection on
her.
While she was nice EYE CANDY on the trails, I just kept thinking it only takes one
turn, one mistake and she with her CUTE body would be all scuffed up and medivac'ed
out of there. AND this guy knows better too!

People who have never learned to ride a motorcycle should drink a few six-packs of beer and work up the courage to say, "Let me take a spin on your new 750 Bruce."
And Moose is right, helmets are for sissies.
Eye protection? Do beer goggles count?

You know, I've been riding ATVs and motorcycles for over 20 years now and when I get a new machine it takes me well over a week, sometimes longer, to really get comfortable with it. They're all different. They sit different, ride different and handle different. Trying trails I'm perfectly comfortable with right now on a new machine is really unnerving. I remember when I was test riding a friend's new Outty it was so different than my old Polaris that it took several days of riding before I was comfortable taking it down trails that I ride on a daily basis.
As for guns, I know more than one person with a Magnum High Power who is too afraid of the thing to accurately shoot it. You wanna really point that out to someone slip a dummy shell into their rifle or surreptitiously unload it. They pull the trigger and it looks like a snake bit them. It often takes that sort of trick to convince someone that they need to either step down a few calibers or start practicing much, much more. Just like when you actually go to the range with guys who make those mythical "400 yard spine/head shots" and who have "hunted with the same box of shells for ten years". Their rifles aren't sighted in and they can't hit the broad side of a barn past 100 yards. Put a sheet of plywood out at 400 and you'd likely be perfectly safe holding it up for them to shoot at.

Then there are the ones who never learned to swim and don't need to since they have a ski jacket and get behind a 50MPH ski boat. Then with 1 person in the boat running it at 50 with only 2 6 packs left.

People who've never learned to drive a stick should get a classic Super Bee big block 440 as their first car. It was sure tempting even if it was just a Charger that the used car dealer slapped a Super Bee decal on.
P.S. I want to ride the redneck passenger wagon and don't need to be drunk to do it. It looks like more fun than my friend's retart cart.
