I am the proud owner of a 1996 polaris sportsman, I recently replaced the battery and now i dont have a fan or lights (high or low beam or tail/brake light) i have taken it apart several times and have yet to find the problem. NEED HELP ASAP!

 

See if you can find the parts manual download off of Polaris web site that they
make in the Adobe Acrobat .pdf files. When going through that will definatively
tell you if there were any for that model. Just a thought!

I looked on the polaris web site with out any luck, it is hard to find anything older than 2000

 

Welcome to the forum penner. The fan doesn't run all the time and should only come on when it needs to. If you were pull-starting it with a dead battery you probably blew all the lights and need new bulbs.
