not 100% on that model of bike but most overide buttons are for a reverse speed limiter. If you dont push it that bike cuts out and wont go but 3-5 mph in reverse, hold it in and it opens up.

Like I said not 100% but that would be my first guess

that yellow button is the reverse overide switch, this gives you full throttle while in reverse, if you don't use the button it will hit a rev limiter causing it to spit and sputter. hope this helps

it allows you to go in reverse faster without retarding the engines timing, its a safety.be careful.you are more likely to tip over with the button pushed in.........

I bought this 4 wheeler, and had to replace the shift fork cause it wouldnt go forward, now I got the tranny back, with a new shift fork in, now it dont have reverse, go figure. Didnt know if the over ride butten being engaged had anything to do with it or not, so thanks for the help

Exactly! I let my friend ride my 4-wheeler and it was his first time and I was mocking him by racing him in reverse. Let's just say I ended up on the ground, apart from the 4-wheeler.
