boy i made a top end run with my k&n filter with the airbox lid (on) and pulled the plug and it was white!! Guess mine came lean from the factory.what size jet should i try next? with what color clutch springhas everyone found to be the best?? GLAD to be back!! silverado

 

I got a nice tan (sparkplug) out of a 152.5 with my H.O. on a nice ride in the snow in the mountains on Sunday. Got a AAEN long duration cam
just to complicate things, but that is the jet it came with and I've seen no change in color or reason to mess with it,, other than constant velocity carbs suck that is.. Just found a TM 42
pumper Mikuni and a TMS 38 for my son's EXP. We'll let you all know how it turns out...

is the 152 the stock size? i put a k&n filter in it and ran a top end run up to 60 or so and pulled the plug and it was white!! i think i need more fuel.

 

What's your elevation? I'm riding at 6,000 ft. with the 152.5. If you are getting a white plug you do need more gas.

 

i think we are at sea level,what would the next size be?? im going to buy two more jets so when i do my air intake mods i can pick the jet up some more.

 

Good to see you back Silverado. Only mods here is the white spring, and it WAS worth the 20 bucks. Looking at airbox mods, and jetting myself.

 

What did the white spring give over the stock?

 

It accelerates and pulls better when the clutch enguages. Try it, you will like it.
