did you loose any top speed??

 

i had heard someone say that changing springs you loose top speed?? if so this is not for me.

 

If you just put in a K&N Filter should you change your jet size? I'm riding at about 2300ft. in the mountains. If I need to re-jet what all is involved? Thanks

Pull your plug and tell us what color the ceramic (look down past the electode) is. If it is white = lean, coffee with cream or light tan = mid-range, and darker tan = good.
Black = too rich.

changing the primary spring to white will NOT affect your top end speed,however,you will see a small raise in your belts engagement rpms and a huge differance on take-off acceleration.This stiffer/longer spring causes the belt to ''GRAB'' much harder!I'd recommend it,it's the cheapest performance mod and makes a big differance.Dont forget that air-box mod either,

what airbox mod have you done?? i wish rick ritter or someone would make a new airhorn for our factory lids.
