big bore kits 400 scrambler

Both kits are basically the same. Your motor is actually 378cc, but called a 400 by default. The name 440 is obtained by adding approximately 40cc to the physical displacement of the motor (378+40=418 +/-2cc), which now logically makes the 400 a 440cc motor.
Unless you intend to strictly race your machine don't do it. It is designed as a high performance racing application and should only be used as such because of factors concerning cooling at low RPM's.
Spend the same amount of money on a good trail port/pipe and carb combo.
