Actually if the President is on a helicopter it is referred to as Marine One.

Not always. It's Air Force One if it's the Air Force, Marine One if it's the Marines, Army One if it's the Army, Navy One if it's the Navy, Coast Guard One if it's the Coast Guard, and Executive One if it's a private aircraft for the President. He has six choices. Everything exactly the same for the VP except number Two instead of One. The President USUALLY flies on Air Force One as the fixed wing aircraft and Marine One as the rotary wing aircraft, <u>but not always</u>.
